The ICT Officer works collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.

<p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a skilled and dedicated ICT Officer to provide support and assistance to our teachers.</p> <p>ICT Officers are accountable for:</p> <div>- The ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- The ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- Interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- Strong planning and organisation skills</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- Quality in fulfilling assigned work</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- Making recommendations for the development of ICT infrastructure considering the needs of new applications and equipment redundancy;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- Providing technical direction for software upgrades, licensing, backup recovery, virus protection, printing systems, server maintenance procedures and network security; and</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>- Supervising and maintaining hardware and software components of a school computer network.</div> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Typical Experience and Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study</li> <li dir="ltr">Appropriate demonstrated experience</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
