<p>Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. It is a school where students enjoy outstanding academic success supported by innovative teaching practices that are underpinned by a whole school approach to Positive Education. </p><p>We are seeking a temporary part-time teacher for the position of Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher at Ravenswood. This position is to commence Term 1 2022 and is temporary until the end of 2022. </p><p>To be successful in securing this position you will be an excellent and engaging classroom practitioner with significant TAS teaching experience. Recent experience with Information and Software Technology curriculum would be desirable. You will demonstrate creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum, as well as having a flexible and collegial approach. Graduate teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply. </p><p>Essential criteria: </p><p>• Qualification in Education and registration with NESA; </p><p>• Skills and experience in teaching TAS; </p><p>• Recent Stage 4 TAS curriculum experience, Stage 5 Information and Software Technology experience would be desirable; </p><p>• Experience in creating exciting and engaging programs and assessments; </p><p>• Effective interpersonal communication skills; and </p><p>• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. </p><p><b>To Apply: </b></p><p>Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
