As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Head School Planning & provisioning is accountable for major long-term system strategy and planning of school and system infrastructure that responds to the needs of CEDP schools.

To continue to achieve our plans for growth and improvement, we are seeking a commercially astute property planning professional to join our Capital Resourcing directorate to execute the school planning and development strategy.</p> <p><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p>The Head of School Planning &amp; Provisioning reports to the Director Capital Resourcing and is responsible for executing the school planning strategy including infrastructure, procurement, and school provisioning. You will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term strategy that responds to the infrastructure needs of schools within the&nbsp;Diocese of Parramatta&nbsp;(80 schools across the vibrant region of Greater Western Sydney). Your impact will be seen by:<br><br></p> <ul> <li>Engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in the planning for the provision of high-quality System infrastructure</li> <li>Delivery of detailed business case development and securing planning approvals</li> <li>Informed decisions around System infrastructure planning&nbsp;using the latest data and trends</li> <li>Accessing diverse sources of revenue to support major infrastructure projects, including, but not limited to the maximisation of available government funding</li> <li>Identification of alternative sources of finance to support capital investment and maximise CEDP’s ability to deliver System infrastructure in line with organisational risk appetite</li> <li>Identification of emerging trends in school infrastructure and facilitating a process that explores alternative options for delivering the best outcomes for an existing school or clusters of schools</li> <li>Development of solid relationships with outsourced Project Managers who are engaged to design and deliver high quality and complex System infrastructure</li> <li>Active participation in the governance structures that oversee the delivery of major capital infrastructure projects to ensure consistent design and delivery in line with the System’s strategic provisioning plan</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CEPD along with:</p> <ul> <li>Degree qualified in Property, Business, Commerce, or related disciplines</li> <li>5+ years commercial experience and knowledge of the property market</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of the local precinct planning systems</li> <li>Experience in presenting proposals with sound economic justification</li> <li>Thought leader on Asset Lifecycle Management, accounting for new and emerging market trends&nbsp;</li> <li>Understand the impact of the digital world and the impact that online learning environments and curriculum integration opportunities</li> <li>The ability to establish and grow strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders</li> </ul> <p>We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation, and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education, and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
