<p><b>About the College </b></p><p>As a Catholic School Thomas Carr College aims to educate our students with an appreciation of the spiritual as well as the intellectual and physical aspects of their lives. Student cantered learning is enhanced via a highly developed middle-years program, abundant technology for all students and state of the art new buildings and refurbishments. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>The Outdoor Education Trainee, stationed at The Good Samaritan Campus which is located at Coragulac and is part of the Parish of Cororooke, 11 kilometres from Colac Victoria. It is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, 141 kilometres, from Thomas Carr College. This is the location where our Year 8 Camp takes place and Year 9 students participate in a Country Experience as part of the iD9 program. </p><p>The Campus has accommodation for 28 students, and as part of the iD9 program, The Good Samaritan Campus runs a residential Outdoor education Program over the three-week period providing students with an opportunity for personal growth, a developing sense of independence, resilience, social awareness and the development of skills for life and the world of work. </p><p>Staff and manager’s residence also exists onsite, available to The Good Samaritan Campus staff when not on duty and throughout the whole year whilst employed at Thomas Carr College. </p><p>The role of The Outdoor Trainee, is to support Teaching staff in the effective running of The Good Samaritan Campus.
