The Counsellor works within the framework of the Catholic School ethos. An essential component is the ability to collaborate with the Principal, Assistant Principal – Student Wellbeing, Student Services Team, school staff, outside support agencies, parents and students to promote a safe caring school and a healthy environment that maximises learning outcomes and student wellbeing. This includes working with our Learning Support and Pathways departments to help students from Years 7 to 12 manage spiritual, emotional, behavioural, social and academic needs.

Salesian College Chadstone is a Year 7 to 12 Catholic boys’ school with around 1,000 students, each with their own individual story. With two campuses either side of the Monash Freeway, we have been located on 25 acres in the heart of Chadstone since 1957.
