<p>Eileen O’Connor Catholic College, Lewisham is a co-educational primary and secondary Sydney Catholic Schools college. The college opened in 2016 to meet the needs of students with moderate intellectual disability and other complex learning needs. Applicants wishing to know more about the college can access the school’s website https://eocc.nsw.edu.au/ </p><p>We are seeking teachers with knowledge and insights in special needs education. <br /></p><p>The successful applicant would need to demonstrate:</p><p>- A knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the Catholic school;</p><p>- Expertise in delivering primary and/or Stage 4/5/6 Life Skills courses;</p><p>- Passion, specific knowledge and proven experience in catering for students with special needs;</p><p>- Knowledge and skills in using technology to support learning;</p><p>- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community;</p><p>- Registration to teach with NESA and Sydney Catholic Schools.</p><p>Qualifications and accreditation to teach Religious Education are essential (a Parish Priest reference is required).</p>
