St Brigid's Catholic College is seeking a Visual Arts teacher for Term 1 and 2, 2022. The ability to teach at least one other Creative Arts / TAS subjects and Stage 4 Religious Education is an advantage. We teach in teams in technology-rich, dynamic learning spaces, using evidence-based teaching strategies.

This is a temporary, full-time role for term 1 and 2, 2022. The ideal candidate has the ability to teach Stage 5 Photography and Digital Media, experience in at least one other Creative Arts / TAS subject and a willingness to teach Stage 4 Religious Education.</p><p>The role of a classroom teacher at St Brigid’s is collaborative; working together with other teachers in teaching teams with a shared belief that collectively we can positively impact the learning and wellbeing of students. You will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students.</p><p>At the heart of our approach to wellbeing is restorative practice, ensuring that students feel safe and supported in an environment that challenges them to be the very best person they can be, living life as a disciple of Jesus and making a difference to society.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the college.</li></ul><ul><li>Passion for working with young people.</li></ul><ul><li>The ability to work with other teachers in teaching teams.</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of, and commitment to, a restorative practice approach to student wellbeing.</li></ul><ul><li>Qualifications and experience teaching Stage 4, Stage 5 and Stage 6 Visual Arts.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to Stage 5 Photography and Digital Media.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of and experience teaching at least one other Creative Arts or TAS subject.</li></ul><ul><li>A willingness to be involved in the extracurricular life of the College.</li></ul><ul><li>The ability to teach Stage 4 Religious Education is an advantage.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
