At the heart of all we do are our core values of empathy, curiosity, excellence, collaboration and truth.</p><p><b>About Our School:</b></p><p>All Saints Catholic College is an important part of our SCS community.</p><p>As a co-educational K-12 dual campus, our College has been formed by the amalgamation in 2019 of the three All Saints’ schools and was incorporated into a single K-12 school entity on two sites, Liverpool and Casula, commencing as a single entity in the 2020 school year with an enrolment of 2100 students across our K-12 community. </p><p>Reporting to the Leader of Diverse Learning K-12, this position has the responsibility of leading the operational aspects of Learning Support (1 point) at the Casula Campus. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Learning Support teachers for this full-time/permanent position from 28 January 2022. Applications should be sent to the Campus Principal (7-10), Mr Michael Hollis.</p><p>The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Having a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school within the broader Catholic Church.</li><li>Assisting with the initial identification of students with learning support needs.</li><li>Assisting teachers with the development of learning goals and intervention programs, and curriculum differentiation.</li><li>Experience in the use of NCCD data collection requirements for relevant (DDA, DSE) which may include administering standardised assessment.</li><li>Collaboratively designing, implementing, modifying and evaluating Individual Adjustment Plans (IAPs) with class teachers and other relevant people.</li><li>Working with students with Individual Adjustment Plans.</li><li>Working with parents and carers of the students you support</li></ul><p>The following General Capabilities are applicable to the role:</p><ul><li>Qualifications in the education of students with diverse learning needs.</li><li>Display a willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities within the school.</li><li>Be flexible and reliable.</li><li>Be able to work as part of a team.</li><li>Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).</li><li>Sydney Catholic Schools’ employment number.</li></ul><p>Please send your applications to: julie.jones&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au <br /></p>
