The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>The Assistant Principal assists the Principal in their responsibility for educational and religious leadership of the school maximising the learning growth of every student and building the capabilities of staff to optimise student learning growth. </p><p>Within the local school context this leadership role operationalises the Towards 2025 goals to ensure the Prouille’s School community enjoy the successes of localised school improvement having alignment to systemic achievement. </p><p>Leading with Commitment, Compassion and Courage, this role is influential in shaping a collaborative culture of continuous improvement. To create the conditions for students and staff to flourish, the Assistant Principal works closely with teachers and school leaders supported and guided by CSBB professional staff and instructional leaders.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>We invite applications from practising Catholics who actively contribute to the life and community of a Parish. </p><p>You have: </p><ul><li>Middle leadership experience demonstrated by Lead Teacher practice or equivalence as described in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers </li><li>Effective leadership, development, implementation and/or evaluative experience of curriculum, assessment and reporting </li><li>Successfully led an effective school improvement initiative that improved the learning experience and outcomes for all students </li><li>Effectively make use of data and evidence to inform and drive improvement </li><li>Demonstrated experience leading and/or responding to transformation and change </li><li>Demonstrated experience in order to create a cohesive team environment </li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people to positively contribute to achieving outcomes </li><li>The ability to create an environment for people to work productively and purposefully </li><li>A track record of managing self to meet deadlines, deliver high quality work with emotional self-awareness and awareness of others </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>The ability to engage with and evaluate relevant research, best practices and data to inform future practices </li><li>A keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience </li><li>NESA approved undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Teaching or Education </li><li>Post-graduate qualifications (or working towards) in a related subject area (e.g. Leadership, Theology/RE, Educational Leadership) from an approved tertiary institution </li><li>Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in a CSBB school (i.e. Level E) </li><li>Accreditation at (or working towards) Lead Teacher (desirable though not essential) </li><li>Valid Working With Children Check</li></ul><p>For further information on Prouille Catholic Primary please check our website on Prouille Catholic Primary School in Wahroonga | Welcome (prouilledbb.catholic.edu.au) </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>An attractive salary based on Teacher classification &#43; AP allowance for a Primary School (212 enrolment) currently $26,595 gross p.a.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>How to Apply </b></p><p>Please email your resume, teachers application form and cover letter outlining how you meet the criteria for the position to the School Principal at <a href="mailto:careers&#64;dbb.org.au" rel="nofollow">careers&#64;dbb.org.au</a> </p><p><b>Applications close on Monday 8 November 2021</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><i>Catholic Schools Broken Bay promotes a culture of safety and care for children and young people.
