<p>In 2022, the school will commence its 3rd year of implementation of Mathematical Excellence and Expertise. The successful applicant will be entrusted to continue leading this program.</p><p>The role includes:</p><ul><li>Leading the implementation of exemplary classroom practice K-6 in Mathematical Excellence &amp; Expertise (MEE) through an Instructional Coaching model</li><li>Supporting class and whole school pedagogy, programs, professional learning, assessment and student achievement in Mathematics</li><li>Collecting, analysing and responding to school achievement data (including PAT, Clinical Interviews and NAPLAN)</li><li>Building relational trust with colleagues, students and parents</li><li>Leading professional dialogue that is informed by feedback, analysis of student data and current research to improve student numeracy outcomes</li><li>Mentoring teachers through sharing ideas about the creation, selection and use of appropriate numeracy teaching strategies and resources </li><li>Undertaking coordinator leadership, grade and administrative responsibilities.</li></ul><p>Essential requirements for the successful applicant:</p><ul><li>Demonstrated expertise and sound experience as a classroom practitioner across all curriculum areas</li><li>Certificate of completion of MEE at Highly Accomplished or Lead levels</li><li>NESA Teacher Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above</li><li>Current Working with Children Check</li><li>SALT Compliance certificates</li><li>Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in a Catholic School (Category C) </li><li>Engagement and contribution to the life and mission of the Catholic Church, as a practising Catholic, incorporating the values of the Gospel into areas of work </li><li>Commitment to cultivating a contemporary and effective learning culture.</li></ul>
