A Permanent Coordinator (Middle Leader) position in a vibrant school community commencing Term 1 2022. This innovative role requires the successful applicant to lead a team of educators (of all responsibilities) across a Learning Stage to improve the educational outcomes of students with a strong focus on the Key Learning Area of English.

<p><b>About Our School</b><br /></p><p>Good Shepherd Catholic Primary is a co-educational K-6 school located 5 minutes from the M7 (Prestons exit) and 10 minutes from Liverpool CBD. It was opened in 1997 to serve the educational needs of the communities of Hoxton Park and Hinchinbrook. As a developing community, the suburbs of Middleton Grange and Elizabeth Hills are now also served by the Parish and school.</p><p>We are a community with a strong faith tradition. Teaching and learning is at Good Shepherd is contemporary and focuses on student growth. Our Pedagogical Statement of Practice, <i>&#39;Know the Learner, Inspire the Learner, Empower the Learner&#39;</i> highlights our belief that learning is student centred and focused on growth.</p><p><b>About You</b></p><p>We invite a positive and forward-thinking educational leader to join our Good Shepherd Leadership Team on a full-time, permanent contract commencing Friday 28 January 2022. The preferred applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:</p><ul><li>a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school and an active member of their own Parish</li><li>the capacity to work cohesively with the Leadership Team to co-design and deliver professional learning to build the confidence and capabilities of teachers (with a focus on English) and support the school’s strategic development</li><li>supporting class and whole school pedagogy, programs, professional learning, assessment and student achievement, particularly in English</li><li>actively contributing to NESA compliance requirements across the school, such as program &amp; timetable supervision, and day-to-day administration responsibilities</li><li>the ability to lead change practices in classrooms through models of observation, modelling and feedback</li><li>a learning mindset that prioritises student centred learning</li><li>maintain a relational approach to team building through collaboration and critical thinking<br /></li><li>collecting, analysing and responding to school achievement data (including PAT, Reading Records and NAPLAN)</li><li>very highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff</li></ul><p>You will also require the following:</p><ul><li>NESA Teacher Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above</li><li>Current Working with Children Check</li><li>SALT Compliance certificates</li><li>Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in a Catholic School (Category C)</li></ul>
