<p>Teacher of English and Drama (Years 7 to 12) </p><p>(Temporary, full-time – parental leave position) </p><p>Terms 2, 3 &amp; 4 of 2022 </p><p>Taree Christian College has a total K-12 student enrolment of 650 students (15% Indigenous) and is situated in the Greater Taree region on the mid-north coast of NSW. A vacancy has arisen for a teacher of Secondary English and Drama. </p><p>Selection Criteria </p><p>The successful applicant must: </p><p>• be a practising Christian, active in a church and subscribe to the Statement of Faith; </p><p>• demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to teach from a Christian perspective; </p><p>• have extensive knowledge of the 7-12 English and Drama curriculum; </p><p>• have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; </p><p>• demonstrate an ability to cater for the full range of learners, have high expectations of students and integrate ICT into teaching; </p><p>• be willing to contribute to the College’s co-curricular program. </p><p>Application Procedure </p><p>Applicants must complete and submit: </p><p>• an Application for Employment and </p><p>• a separate CV in which the applicant addresses the above selection criteria. </p><p>The successful applicant must satisfy NSW Working with Children and NESA teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in Australia. </p><p>Applications should be addressed to the Principal, Mr David Coleman, and close on Monday, 15 November 2021.
