Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.</p><p><b>E</b><b>ssential Criteria:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher in Stage 4 English </li><li>Ability and demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Proven ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve literacy and learning outcomes for every student</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management.</li><li>Ability to integrate ICT into the teaching of English</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events </li></ul>
