The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning.</p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>This is a temporary, full-time Year Coordinator role to commence January 2022 for Mercy Catholic College, Chatswood.  This role is a 0.2FTE Year Coordinator, 0.8FTE Teaching position.  There is the strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate, who will ideally have recent experience working as a Year Coordinator.  Flexibility exists with regard to subject area.</p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate teacher to inspire, motivate and engage students. Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Support the vision, purpose and values of Catholic Schools Broken Bay and the strategic priorities of the College.</li></ul><ul><li>Ideally have recent experience working as a Year Coordinator.</li></ul><ul><li>Effectively lead teachers to establish safe and supportive learning environments.</li></ul><ul><li>Be a highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner with experience teaching Year 7-12 in their KLA.</li></ul><ul><li>Have highly developed interpersonal, presentation and communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, students, parents/carers and community members.</li></ul><ul><li>Be able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.</li></ul><ul><li>Be willing to contribute to the broader extracurricular endeavours of school life as an active member of the school community.</li></ul><p></p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
