We're looking for Health and Wellbeing Advisers to deliver evidence based health and wellbeing assessments and programs. The role also supports our staff following an injury or illness, providing recovery at work management services to assist their return to everyday life and work.<br /> </p> <p dir="ltr">Reporting to the Supervisor: Health and Wellbeing, this role is responsible for providing professional advice, assistance, operational support and case management to Sydney Catholic Schools ("SCS") internal departments and schools, on a wide range of health and wellbeing matters.<br /> </p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Major Accountabilities</strong><br /> </p> <p dir="ltr">The Health and Wellbeing Adviser will be responsible for:<br /> </p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>case management of non work related and work related injuries/illnesses</li> <li>developing, leading and implementing evidence-based health and wellbeing interventions in the prevention of injuries and illnesses</li> <li>provide comprehensive allied health assessments</li> <li>scheduling and delivering health and wellbeing initiatives including communication packages, training and events</li> <li>contributing to the development and delivery of early intervention programs</li> <li>advising managers on employee health, safety and wellbeing practices to ensure internal policies, procedures and legislative requirements are followed.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Essential Criteria</strong><br /> </p> <p dir="ltr">To be considered for this role, you will have the following experience, skills and knowledge:<br /> </p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>a Bachelor Degree qualification/s in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy with at least five years post qualified experience</li> <li>demonstrated experience in the development of evidence-based wellbeing interventions</li> <li>the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and independently.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Application Process</strong><br /> </p> <p dir="ltr">Submit your application via the <a href="https://cgprod.phris.org.au/psp/CGPRD/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_APP_JBPST_FL&amp;Action=U&amp;FOCUS=Applicant&amp;SiteId=2&amp;JobOpeningId=1935&amp;PostingSeq=1">'Apply'</a> button and follow the steps to complete your application.<br /> </p> <p dir="ltr">If you have any questions, please contact the recruitment team via hr.recruitment@syd.catholic.edu.au<br /> <br /> <strong>Working With Children Check (WWCC)</strong><br /> This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.<br /> </p>
