As a high performing Catholic day and boarding school beginning with the Early Learning Centre (co-educational 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten) and girls only education from Preparatory to Year 12. </p><p>The College embodies the charism of Marie Madeleine d’Houët, the founder of the Faithful Companions of Jesus. The College shares with its community a future-oriented and distinctive learning culture guided by reflection, wisdom, and service, empowering young people to transform the world with hope and care. Each person&#39;s dignity is an essential element in how the College lives out its vision and promotes the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children and young people. </p><p>Genazzano is a non-selective entry school. The students are located on a single campus which offers both Primary and Secondary students easy access to specialised facilities. A co-educational Early Learning Centre (ELC) for three and four year old children instils the joys of learning and discovery through the Reggio Emilia approach, supported by the FCJ framework. </p><p>The Director of ICT works to ensure that the College is well resourced to meet the educational needs of students in the area of e-learning technologies and IT infrastructure that the College advances in its strategic direction in the area of new technologies. The Director of ICT leads and manages the entire ICT network at the College and oversee the management and supervision of RTG services to ensure they are service-oriented and respond positively to all staff. They also provide advice to the Director of School Services and Principal on projects relating to technology, information and data services, data bases, computer network, maintenance, and future development. </p><p>The successful candidate will be a highly relational and innovative professional, with outstanding capacity to work with integrity and creatively, contributing positively to the College culture and operations. Reporting to the Director of School Services and the Principal, they will: </p><ul><li>Promote the Mission, Vision and Catholic ethos of the College community </li><li>Lead and manage the College’s ICT team, information technologies, computer systems and network, ensuring complete integrity of data and ethical management of access and confidentiality </li><li>Inform, lead and collaborate around innovative and forward thinking e-learning technologies </li><li>Research, promote and facilitate professional development in current and emerging education practice and trends in Information and Communication Technologies </li><li>Engage with opportunities for students and staff to build capacity and involvement in future developments </li><li>Ensure relevant policies and practices are contemporary, shared with staff, students, parents and the broader Gen community </li></ul><p>The position of Director of Information and Communications Technologies is initially for a term of three years and following a successful performance appraisal will be appointed for a further three years.
