<p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is seeking a Specialist Teacher to accountable for supporting the our Strategic Intent of improving learning outcomes for all students and promoting a professional and rewarding working life for teachers.</p> <p>The Specialist Teacher is accountable for:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Creating inclusive practice in school culture in relation to the effective implementation of personalised learning and adjustments for students with additional needs and disability <br>Understanding and implementing the Personalised Planning process</li> <li dir="ltr">Providing specialised teaching support services to schools aimed at building teacher capacity using a gradual release model</li> <li dir="ltr">Providing expert advice to leadership teams, teachers and the wider system on matters related to specific disabilities and/or additional needs in accordance with CEDP guidelines</li> <li dir="ltr">Working collaboratively to ensure inclusion, access and participation and to maximise learning outcomes for students with additional needs</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">The Organisation</p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
