St Elizabeth’s School in Dandenong North seeks to employ a passionate and motivated graduate classroom teacher for a fixed term position for 2022. The contract will begin Friday 28th January 2022 and end Thursday 27th January 2023. The role is for a full time teaching position as a Year 3/4 classroom teacher.

<p>The successful applicant needs to be committed to delivering a high standard of teaching and has a willingness to contribute to our vibrant and highly professional team, where student learning and wellbeing defines who we are.</p><p>A passion and enthusiasm for leading learning is a characteristic we seek in all our staff. The teaching and learning at our school is contemporary, where collaboration and a willingness to work and learn as a team member is fundamental to the way we create an effective learning environment for our students.</p><p>Knowledge and teaching experience of the Victorian Curriculum, with a willingness to develop programs to suit every child is expected of all staff at St Elizabeth’s.</p><p>The successful applicant will be required to:<br /></p><ul><li>have an understanding, commitment, and support for the values and ethos of the Catholic school and the mission of the Catholic Church </li><li>demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children in accordance with Child Safe standards </li><li>foster and develop appropriate professional relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider school community </li><li>collaboratively plan and work in a team with flexibility, creativity, passion and enthusiasm </li><li>view themselves as a lifelong learner, which they foster in all students </li><li>display initiative and commitment to ongoing improvement </li><li>have a sound knowledge of contemporary learning, with a particular emphasis on the Victorian Curriculum through an inquiry approach </li><li>assess and report against the Victorian Curriculum to demonstrate student improvement </li><li>gather, analyse and use data (formal and informal) to improve teacher practice, pedagogy and student outcomes </li><li>have a commitment to pursuing and maintaining their professional knowledge and skills in the areas of teaching and learning and student wellbeing </li><li>to have a sound understanding and confidently incorporate the Digital Technologies curriculum to engage students in their learning </li><li>be adaptable and have a sense of humour </li><li>be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 </li></ul><p>We ask that graduates ONLY apply.
