St Leo’s Catholic College, Wahroonga, is seeking to appoint a permanent, 3-point, Leader of Administration to commence at the beginning of the 2022 academic year.

The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>St Leo’s Catholic College, Wahroonga is seeking to appoint an highly organised and experienced educator to the role of Leader of Administration for the commencement of the 2022 academic year.  This is a 3-point coordinator position, with subject area specialisation negotiable.</p><p>The Leader of Administration is a member of the College Leadership Team and responsible for organising all aspects of changes to the school day, including inducting, deploying and supervising quality casual staff, developing and maintaining the College timetable and managing College events for the College Calendar. Experience in Edval (Timetable construction) and/or Compass would be advantageous.</p><p>The successful applicant will be a suitably qualified teacher and enjoy working within a cohesive team. A commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College is an essential condition of employment.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Be Supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the College.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee the daily organisation of the College – duty rosters, covers for absent teachers, examination timetable.</li></ul><ul><li>Have knowledge of secondary school subject requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.</li></ul><ul><li>Have experience in developing timetables.</li></ul><ul><li>Be a dynamic teacher who is experienced in contemporary pedagogy.</li></ul><ul><li>Be able to provide high level advice to students/parents regarding </li></ul><ul><li>subject selection.</li></ul><ul><li>Liaise with the Dean of Curriculum in relation to curriculum issues.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p></p><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
