Our school motto “do small things with great love” inspires us to care for fellow members of our school community as well as reach out into the wider community. The School prides itself on the diverse range of activities it offers students and this is due to the generosity and expertise of the staff.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><strong>About the Role<br><br></strong>We are currently seeking a temporary <strong>Classroom&nbsp;Teacher</strong>&nbsp;to join our inclusive and vibrant team. Our school prides itself on the diverse range of activities it offers the students and this is due to the generosity and expertise of the staff. An ability to contribute in any area would be beneficial. The successful applicant will have strong classroom management skills and excellent communication skills.<strong><br></strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>A commitment to Catholic education and the promotion of the mission of the Catholic Church.</li> <li>Well-developed self-awareness and the ability to reflection on your own performance, integrity, and resilience.</li> <li>The passion and expertise to work individually and collectively with students, to maximise the learning outcomes for each one, including those with additional learning needs.</li> <li>Demonstrated high-level teaching skills, particularly in Literacy and Numeracy across all key learning areas.</li> <li>An ability to engage learners in lessons and units of work that inspire curiosity and problem solving.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents and staff.</li> <li>Demonstrated capacity and willingness to develop students’ unique capabilities through extra-curricular activities.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><em>Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.<br><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt"><strong>Please note:</strong> This position involves work in an ACT school.&nbsp; The appointment of successful applicants is subject to compliance with Public Health (ACT School or Early Childhood Education and Care Workers COVID-19 Vaccination) Emergency Direction 2021. Individuals who are appointed to a position in a ACT school are required to have either received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, or have obtained an approved medical contraindication certificate.
