<p>DEPUTY HEAD OF PRIMARY SCHOOL K - 6 (Curriculum &amp; Student Welfare) - Term 1 2022</p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable applicant to join our well-respected and high-achieving Christian Independent School within the St George Area.</p><p>St Mary and St Mina’s Coptic College is an Independent Co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 school located in Bexley/Rockdale, just 10 minutes away from the CBD and based on Christian beliefs and practices. </p><p>With the expected opening of the new Senior campus in May 2022, we are currently seeking an energetic and community-minded leader for this executive position. Reporting to the Head of College, the successful applicant will be a suitably qualified and experienced educational leader with leadership experience and will: </p><p>• be a Christian actively involved in their local church, supporting and promoting the teachings of the Christian faith, its values and practices as expressed within the ethos of the College </p><p>• have a thorough understanding of and experience in Christian Education; </p><p>• be able to show Educational Leadership in a K – 6 environment</p><p> </p><p>• have a relational mindset and skills to relate well to staff, student, parents and the broader church community; </p><p>• demonstrating an ability to develop and implement strategic planning </p><p>• be experienced in overseeing school-wide discipline, pastoral care and curriculum programs. </p><p>• a strong understanding of NESA Registration  processes, procedures, and documentation </p><p> </p><p>• have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; </p><p>• have appropriate experience in senior leadership.</p><p>• experience with gathering scout data for the purpose of detailed reporting on NAPLAN and a proven record of student improvement</p><p>• familiar with the functioning of student management systems and timetable software</p><p> </p><p>Salary and teaching load will be negotiated with the successful applicant and will be dependent on qualifications and experience. </p><p>Please refer to the attached Role Description for more information.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><br /><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
