St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School has an opportunity for a Senior Administration Officer to join the team in a permanent, full-time capacity, commencing 28 January, 2022. The SAO is responsible for managing the financial and administrative functions of the school.

The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>This is a permanent full-time Senior Administration Officer role to commence (start day) January, 2022 at St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, Woy Woy. </p><p>Reporting to the School Principal, you will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative functions of the school, as well as being the first point of contact for enquiries from students, parents and the wider community. The main duties of this varied and dynamic role include: </p><p></p><ul><li>Assisting the Principal with the financial functions of the school including assistance with bookkeeping, accounting and payroll. </li></ul><ul><li>Managing the day-to-day administration systems and processes in a busy office setting with constantly changing priorities. </li></ul><ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for students and parents. </li></ul><ul><li>Provide administrative support to teaching staff. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with posting and advertising on social media platforms. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage Sick Bay and administer first aid when required. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with organising maintenance and repairs of school property. </li></ul><ul><li>Managing enrolments and processing school fees. </li></ul><p></p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>To be successful in the role you will have solid experience with bookkeeping and/or accounting, be highly organised with a customer-centred approach to your work.
