The School prides itself on the diverse range of activities it offers students and this is due to the generosity and expertise of the staff.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt"><br></span><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Exciting and rewarding opportunities exists as an&nbsp;<strong>Early Childhood Educator</strong>&nbsp;to provide high quality service and programs for children in the year before formal school. The Early Childhood Educator will work as a part of a team striving for excellence in teaching and learning, where relationships and partnerships are nurtured and respected, where children feel safe and develop a strong sense of identity.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ability to provide high quality care for all children at the Centre;</li> <li>Active participation as a team member and a commitment to an inclusive working environment;</li> <li>Strong organisational skills;</li> <li>A commitment to developing positive relationships with families;</li> <li>A well-developed sense of responsibility and self-motivation;</li> <li>A commitment to maintaining confidentiality with staff, families and children;</li> <li>A commitment to development and improvement within the field of Early Childhood education;</li> <li>An ability to work with different multimedia platforms;</li> <li>Must hold a relevant Working with Vulnerable Children registration;</li> <li>Diploma in Children’s Services qualification;</li> <li>Certificates in First Aid (HLTAID004) &amp; Asthma and Anaphylaxis.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><em>Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.<br><br></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><strong>Please note:</strong> This position involves work in an ACT school.&nbsp; The appointment of successful applicants is subject to compliance with Public Health (ACT School or Early Childhood Education and Care Workers COVID-19 Vaccination) Emergency Direction 2021. Individuals who are appointed to a position in a ACT school are required to have either received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, or have obtained an approved medical contraindication certificate.
