<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for this 0.6FTE temporary maternity leave teaching position for Term 1 2022 (28 January to 8 April). </p><p>Aquinas Catholic College is a Systemic Co-educational College located in the Sutherland Shire with an enrolment of 1,096 students and 108 staff. Established in 1993 the College is a welcoming community inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our tailored curriculum is based on our Enlivened Learning philosophy which fosters a growth mindset in uniting faith, wellbeing and learning. </p><p>The successful applicant will demonstrate: </p><ul><li>a commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, religious, academic and pastoral dimensions of College life </li><li>teaching qualifications in one or more KLA’s </li><li>an understanding of and ability to differentiate curriculum and assessment </li><li>the ability to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning </li><li>a genuine desire to build professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievement. </li></ul><p>The role will require the teacher to: </p><ul><li>assist teachers to identify students in need of learning support using objective data, including standardised tests </li><li>develop IEPs in consultation with parents / carers, teachers, external professionals and School Counsellor </li><li>work with coordinators and assist with parent teacher interviews and case conferences </li><li>collaborate with teachers to develop differentiated classroom programs and implement disability adjustments </li><li>develop, implement, register and evaluate learning support programs </li><li>provide direct teaching and/or in class support to students </li><li>direct Learning Support Officers to support individuals or groups through in-class support </li><li>assess, document and report on student progress and contribute to the Personalised Planning Tool and moderating processes. </li></ul><p>Applicants should also submit their curriculum vitae, including the contact details of three referees (including your current and most recent prior Principal) to Mr James Clancy at: principal&#64;aquinasmenai.catholic.edu.au </p><p>Applications close 4:00pm Wednesday 8 December. </p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
