<p>St Patrick’s College is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly Learning Support Officer to join our highly professional and collaborative team of educators. </p><p>The applicant will be required to assist in the provision of education and pastoral care for students from Years 7 to 12 with a wide range of learning abilities. The Learning Support Officer works collaboratively with the Leader of Diverse Learning.</p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to the Catholic ethos of the College and utilise effective learning and teaching strategies and technologies to enhance 21st century pedagogy.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrate experience implementing adjustments for students with a range of diverse learning needs to enhance learning growth across all KLAs<br /></li><li>Collaboratively and collegially work as a member of the Learning Support team</li><li>Provide in class support to students who have a mild to moderate cognitive disability</li><li>Collect data and evidence to support NCCD requirements and an understanding of relevant legislation</li><li>Administer one on one and small group interventions to students with a diverse range of learning abilities</li><li>Administer a range of standardised assessments</li><li>Maintain school based data and records upholding confidentiality</li><li>Use and integrate technology across a wide range of administrative and curriculum applications into everyday learning and planning</li></ul><p><b>Formal Qualifications:</b></p><p>Qualifications and/or experience as a Learning Support Officer/Teacher’s Aide is essential, as well as current registration to work in Sydney Catholic Schools.<br /></p><p>Applicants for the above position should provide their curriculum vitae as well as a written response to the essential criteria to principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au.
