The preferred candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and be able to deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.</div><div>You will be responsible for the effective implementation of the NESA Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) syllabuses, and as such, you are a role model personally and professionally. The Selection Criteria for the TAS/Hospitality Teacher position require the applicant to explain, and provide examples if relevant, of:</div><ul><li>their understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic Church</li><li>their secondary education qualifications to teach Stage 4 to 6 subjects in Technological and Applied Studies and/or subjects in another KLA such as Hospitality, Visual Arts or Religious Education</li><li>exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies</li><li>excellent classroom management skills</li><li>effective communication skills with students, staff and parents</li><li>a proven ability to work collegially within a faculty</li><li>a commitment to growing the College&#39;s culture of learning and thinking</li><li>the ability to lead pastoral care and student management for a cohort (if applying for Year Coordinating)</li></ul><div>This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain a valid Working with Children Clearance.</div><div><br /></div><div>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
