The position of School Support Officer is to assist with administrative & financial functions, by supporting the Principal, School Executive and Senior School Finance Officer. The successful applicant must possess a willingness to be a collaborative team member, with flexibility & ability to adapt to changing school requirements and needs. Commencing 28/1/2022.

<p><b>Applications are welcome from highly motivated and suitably qualified individuals who meet the following </b><b>Essential &amp;/or Desirable Criteria:</b> </p><ul><li>Certificate or Diploma in administration/business or equivalent demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of administrative and finance functions/processes</li><li>Working with Children Check Clearance (for Paid Employment) </li><li>Support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church&#39;s work in schools</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication &amp; interpersonal skills and able to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff </li><li>Advanced word processing proficiency in MS Office &amp; Google suite, including spreadsheets </li><li> A demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and manage diverse workloads to achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a consistent level of professionalism </li><li>Demonstrated ability to take direction and work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team </li><li>Willingness and capacity to take initiative and to engage in ongoing professional growth and learning </li><li>Accuracy and attention to detail </li><li>Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required</li><li>Current First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain </li><li> Experience in Compass, Ancestry &amp; CiAnywhere systems</li></ul><p><b>Previous experience in a high output school office environment would be considered an advantage.</b></p><p><b>Working With Children Check (WWCC) </b></p><p><b><i>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment </i></b></p><p><b><i>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
