<p><b>The Positions</b></p><p>Two Aboriginal Education Assistants (AEAs) one permanent part-time and one temporary part-time. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Commencement</b><br /></p><p>The commencement date for these positions is 4 February 2022, with the temporary position concluding 20 December 2022. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Position Purpose </b></p><p>The primary role of the Aboriginal Education Assistant is to support the classroom teacher in achieving the best possible education outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait students of the Armidale Diocese Catholic Schools. </p><p>A secondary role is to assist in other ways not directly in support of those students, but which assist the class teacher in facilitating understanding and knowledge of all students of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
