<p>The successful applicant will: </p><p>1. Demonstrate a commitment to uphold, support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the College in the Mercy tradition, and be willing to participate in and contribute to the life of Mercedes College and the wider community. </p><p>2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of curriculum and assessment, and how these are aligned to contemporary learning approaches. </p><p>3. Be an experienced educator who incorporates inclusive practices to support and develop the range of learners </p><p>4. Demonstrate the skills and knowledge to apply digital technologies as an integral part of the teaching and learning program. </p><p>5. Demonstrate an ability to develop positive relationships with students, families and colleagues. </p><p>6. Demonstrate a commitment to and enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a learning community, to professional development and lifelong learning. </p><p>7. Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary and Middle Years Programme would be an advantage but is not essential.</p>
