All Saints Catholic College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher responsible for delivering intensive tuition for our students during 2022. The intervention aims to provide extra support targeted at students with the greatest literacy learning needs at our Liverpool Campus. Contract position 1 FTE (commencing 14th February to 27th August 2022).

Our students are challenged within a dynamic and innovative curriculum to become independent thinkers willing to take risks and become lifelong learners.<br /> <br /> <strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />All Saints Catholic College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to be responsible for the delivery of intensive tuition for our students during 2022. The intervention is aimed at providing extra support targeted at students with the greatest literacy learning needs. Reporting to the Executive Principal, you will be responsible for improving the learning outcomes of students by providing tuition to identified students in small groups at our Liverpool Campus. </p><p>This role requires you to demonstrate a commitment to the principles and core values of All Saints Catholic College and an alignment to the College Mission Statement, that is to be;</p><p><i>Inspired by the person, life and teachings of Jesus Christ, we are a diverse and hope-filled Catholic community, united in our commitment to foster excellence in education where Gospel values are central. </i></p><p><strong>In the role, your major accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Delivering the intensive program designed by the School Leadership Team to students from years 7-10.</li><li>Implementing an intervention program over five days per week. </li><li>Contributing to lesson planning and scope and sequence plans. </li><li>Collating school-based data on pre and post-assessment for each student in the program.</li><li>Maintaining a high level of accountability for the teaching of students and overall learning.</li><li>Providing evaluative feedback to classroom teachers and parents regarding the implementation of the program as needed. </li><li>ring performance goal achievement<br /></li><li>liaising with key stakeholders in the development of partnerships in senior years education.</li></ul> <p><b>Essential criteria:</b></p> <ul><li>NESA accreditation as a Conditional, Provisional or Proficient teacher.</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration, to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools.</li><li>An enthusiastic person, driven to improve student learning outcomes.</li><li>Commitment to the mission, vision and values of Sydney Catholic Schools.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to use a range of data to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices.</li><li>Ability to integrate ICT into teaching.</li><li>Ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes for each student.</li><li>Committed to a positive approach to behaviour management.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that build collaboration and quality relationships in working with others.</li><li>Practice informed by a knowledge of contemporary educational research on how students best learn.</li><li>Experience as a teacher in Primary or Secondary schools as a prac student, casual, temporary or permanent teacher. </li></ul> <p><strong>APPLICATION PROCESS</strong><br />To apply for this position please forward applications to the Executive Principal in writing to Ms Rebecca Britten (email: rebecca.britten&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au).
