This is achieved through a personalised, yet dynamic approach to learning in which caters for each young woman’s needs, passions and aspirations.</p><p>Applications are invited from dynamic educators for the position of Year Coordinator. The preferred candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and be able to deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.</p><p>You will be responsible for the effective leadership of a cohort of students, and as such, you are a role model personally and professionally. You will have the ability to develop positive relationships, foster a culture of collaboration and inquiry and be proactive in your support of the Catholic mission and values of Mary MacKillop College.</p><p><b>About you:</b></p><ul><li>be an experienced, highly effective, innovative and motivated educator</li><li>be a leader with a passion for the wellbeing of students</li><li>be focused on the needs of the students and the community the school serves</li><li>be committed to leading the Catholic ethos and values of our school</li><li>be an enthusiastic educator who can contribute to the culture of the school and its community</li><li>have a proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team</li><li>have an understanding of the education and development of girls</li><li>possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>have a strong work ethic</li><li>possess excellent organisation skills </li></ul><p><b>Selection Criteria:</b></p><p>The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:</p><ul><li>A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li><li>Have qualifications and experience in teaching to Stage 6.</li><li>Demonstrates leadership in pastoral care and student management.</li><li>Ability to successfully liaise with students, staff, parents and relevant organisations.</li><li>Ability to work collegially within a team environment.</li><li>Displays an ability to lead learning and foster innovation and creativity in a collaborative environment.</li><li>Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.</li><li>Possesses effective communication and engagement skills with students, staff and parents.</li><li>Deep knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning practice including effective assessment and differentiated learning.</li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence and a commitment to continual improvement.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of NESA requirements.</li><li>A commitment to Professional Learning and evidence driven improvement for teachers and students.</li><li>Willingness to undertake administrative, curriculum and supervisory duties associated with the position.</li></ul><p>This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain a valid Working with Children Clearance.</p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
