We are committed to excellence in education and our aim is to foster the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and social wellbeing of all members of the OLMC community within a safe, healthy, caring and sustainable environment.<br> <br> <strong>The Role</strong><br> <br> We are currently seeking a passionate leader to join as our Head of Inclusive Learning department commencing in Term 1, 2022.<br> <br> Our Inclusive Learning faculty supports and develops the capacity of students across the College. The Head of Inclusive Learning leads a team of Inclusion teachers and Learning Support Assistants. Each Inclusion Teacher leads a particular stage (4-6) and collaborates and coaches subject Teachers to develop strategies to effectively ensure the learning needs of all students in the classroom are met.<br> <br> The successful applicant will possess:<br> </p> <ul> <li>Experience in teaching to Stage 6</li> <li>Capacity to teach within another faculty area</li> <li>Clear understanding of contemporary pedagogy including the use of technology in a 1:1 notebook environment</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative, organisational and collaborative working skills</li> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications and approval to teach in NSW</li> <li>Ability to support the Catholic mission and Mercy values of the College and participate in the life of the College</li> <li>Experience teaching in Special Education desirable</li> <li>Experience in coaching and mentoring teaching staff in collaborative curriculum planning and cooperative teaching desirable</li> <li>A valid Working with Children Check clearance</li> <li>Evidence of Covid vaccination status required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits at OLMC</strong><br> <br> For the successful applicant, OLMC provides:<br> </p> <ul> <li>Support for teachers undertaking accreditation</li> <li>Access to professional development</li> <li>Salary sacrificing and packaging</li> <li>ubsidised parking close to the College</li> </ul> <p><strong>Apply today</strong><br> <br> If you are interested in joining us, please send your resume and cover letter addressed to the College Principal via our website.<br> </p>
