<p>PLC Armidale is seeking to appoint a Design &amp; Technology Teacher to join our Senior School. This permanent position will commence in Term 4, 2022.</p><p><b>SELECTION CRITERIA</b></p><ul><li>Recognised teaching qualification from a reputable tertiary institution preferably with a Design &amp; Technology specialisation</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of the NESA syllabus requirements for Design &amp; Technology, Stages 4 to 6, with experience teaching Stage 6 Design &amp; Technology desirable</li><li>Experience programming, teaching and assessing student learning of Design &amp; Technology courses preferred</li><li>Expertise sought in one or more of the following technologies: food, materials, digital, design and production</li><li>Outstanding pedagogical skills</li><li>Ability to teach a second subject area desirable</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills</li><li>Experience working with children with additional support needs, including a language background other than English desirable</li><li>The ability to work both independently and as part of a faculty team</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of the ethos and values of a Christian independent all girls’ school.</li></ul>
