<p><br /></p><p>McCarthy Catholic College is seeking a permanent full-time <b>TAS teacher</b>, with the ability to teach Stage 6 Design and Technology and a range of Stage 4 and 5 TAS subjects. An ability to teach Religious Education and any other subject will be highly regarded but is not an essential criteria. The successful applicant will be able to articulate a contemporary, student-centred perspective on pedagogy and be able to show evidence of recent work to improve teacher practice, build stronger teams and improve student learning. This is a Targeted Incentive Position, allowing negotiation on employment conditions. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Position Purpose </b></p><p> </p><p>The Catholic School is more than an educational institution. It is a key part of the Catholic Church - an essential element in the Church&#39;s mission. The Teacher assists the Principal, to demonstrate strong support for the vision and ministry of the Catholic school.<br /></p><p>Teachers are supported in their role to be able to provide quality teaching in a stimulating and challenging environment where everyone is valued.
