<p><b>English Teacher </b></p><p><b>Permanent Full-Time Position </b></p><p><b>Term 1, 2022 Commencement </b></p><p>We seek to appoint an innovative teacher with excellent communication skills to commence as soon as possible in Term 1, 2022. The successful applicant will display passion and enthusiasm for teaching and will be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in the areas listed below:</p><p><b>Key duties and responsibilities </b></p><p>• Ability to teach English across Stages 4, 5, and 6; </p><p>• Ability to program and write assessments; </p><p>• Inspiring students to aspire;<br /></p><p>• Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College;<br /></p><p>• Knowledge of current pedagogy. </p><p><b>The successful applicant will: </b></p><p>• Hold a degree with a specialisation in English education (preferred); </p><p>• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School; </p><p>• Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College; </p><p>• Be an innovative, and engaging team member; </p><p>• Teach with excellence, professionalism, and commitment; </p><p>• Have an ability to relate to girls and boys with practical knowledge of boy’s education issues and initiatives in the foundation years (Stage 4 and 5); </p><p>• Adhere to the Colleges Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures; </p><p>• Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence. </p><p>Oakhill College is committed to innovative high-quality teaching and learning and provides excellent facilities and resources.
