We are committed to excellence in education and our aim is to foster the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and social wellbeing of all members of the OLMC community within a safe, healthy, caring and sustainable environment.<br> <br> <br> <strong>The Role<br></strong>We are currently seeking a collaborative Head of Mathematics leader to collaborate and actively cultivate an understanding of, and engagement with, Mathematics throughout the College.<br> <br> Start date is negotiable for the right candidate.<br> <br> The successful applicant will possess:<br> </p> <ul> <li>Appropriate tertiary qualifications (preferably with postgraduate study in the areas of pedagogy and/or quality assessment)</li> <li>Demonstrated thorough knowledge of all aspects of the Mathematics syllabus</li> <li>Capacity to teach all levels of Mathematics stages 4, 5 and 6.</li> <li>Proven innovative and creative education skills</li> <li>Experience in supervising and coaching a faculty team</li> <li>Understanding of contemporary and innovative pedagogy including the use of technology in a 1:1 notebook environment</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills</li> <li>Support the Catholic mission and Mercy values of the College and participate in the life of the College</li> <li>A valid Working with Children Check clearance</li> </ul> <p>Applications close Sunday, 6 February 2022.</p>
