St Mary of the Cross MacKillop is seeking a Performing Arts teacher to commence at the beginning of the 2022 school year.

<p>St Mary of the Cross MacKillop Catholic Parish Primary School Epping North is a diverse, innovative and student centered learning community. This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.<br /></p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Performing Arts Teacher for all students from Foundation to Year 6 with experience in one or more of the following - music, dance and drama. This role is a Parental leave 12 month contract, .8 (4 days) Performing Arts Teacher. Time allocation could be negotiated for a shared role eg. 2 days, for the right applicant.</p><p><b>Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>VIT registration </li><li>Committed to providing a Catholic education for all students </li><li>Committed to upholding the SMCM Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct </li><li>Dedicated to catering for the individual needs of students in a school wide positive behavior for learning environment </li><li>Committed to building authentic relationships with all children and families </li><li>Ability to provide a learning program that is engaging and student centered, while being informed by data and the curriculum </li><li>Willing to work collaboratively with others in a flexible learning environment </li><li>An active member of the school community, events and the life of the Parish </li><li>Committed to ongoing professional learning </li><li>COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate </li></ul><p><b>The successful applicant will have: </b></p><ul><li>Experience and knowledge in teaching classroom music, dance and drama </li><li>Knowledge of the Arts Victorian Curriculum </li><li>Passion for learning and teaching in Performing Arts that inspires and fosters a culture of inclusion and creativity </li><li>Technology skills to provide contemporary teaching and learning and engagement in Performing Arts </li><li>Experience in planning school wide events and programs eg.
