Thomas Carr College is a Year 7 - 12 Catholic Co-education College in Tarneit, west of Melbourne. We currently have 1100 students. The College serves the Parishes of St Peter the Apostle and St James the Apostle, located in Hoppers Crossing.

Student centered learning is enhanced via a highly developed middle-years program, abundant technology for all students and state of the art new buildings and refurbishments. </p><p><b>About the role</b></p><p><b> </b></p><p>The Head of Learning and Teaching Senior School, upon appointment, agrees to share in the Principal’s leadership and represent the Principal in discharging the duties as outlined below. </p><p>The Head of Learning and Teaching Senior School, facilitates the development of curriculum and reporting structures at the College within the Senior School. This leader assists the Deputy Principal Learning and Teaching in developing a team of learning leaders in their capacity as educators and as leaders of subject specific curricula at Years 10 to 12. <br /></p><p>This leadership role oversees the administration of VCAA and other VCE related examinations as well as key programs and initiatives to improve student learning outcomes at Years 10 to 12.
