With approximately 1,500 staff and over 6,000 students and participants across multiple sites Aspect&nbsp;works in partnership with people of all ages on the autism spectrum, and their families to deliver evidence-informed solutions that are person-centred, family-focused and customer driven.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>About the team:&nbsp; </strong>The People team, which includes Human Resources, Recruitment, Payroll, Learning &amp; Development and Diversity and Inclusion, partner with the organisation to deliver effective people management and payroll solutions that add value and respond to changing business needs.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>About the role: </strong>To provide strategic leadership and oversee operational responsibility for HR, Recruitment, Learning &amp; Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Payroll. As a member of the Management team, the&nbsp;Head of People and Culture is responsible for achievement of the three year Aspect Strategic Plan and the annual Aspect Business Plan. <a href="https://applynow.net.au/jobs/ASPECT1463/assets/17040742">To view the full position profile, please click&nbsp;here.</a></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with the Executive and Management Network to ensure the People systems and processes support the delivery of excellent services</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead the continuous improvement of the People systems and processes</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support the Chief Operating Officer to engage strategically with the Board and Board Committees and provide advice on mitigating/managing IR and ER risks at Board and Executive level</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive cultural change to strengthen staff engagement and achieve Aspect’s mission</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Skills, experience and qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Degree or post graduate qualifications in HR or relevant discipline</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Significant leadership experience in People &amp; Culture portfolios in a similar size and/or type of organisation.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in a diversified organisation/industry sectors with experience in a not-for-profit, disability or education sectors an advantage</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to influence senior management and increase the profile of HR within an organisation</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated experience in successfully innovating and leading change</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to quickly build trust and communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to quickly read and analyse situations, identify and focus on critical business issues</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent attention to detail</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to assess what is important to stakeholders, staff, clients and management and deliver on actions</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this.&nbsp;Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is also required.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/support-for-workers/training-course">If you have not already completed the module, click here to access it.</a>&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What we offer:</strong>&nbsp;A competitive package&nbsp;will be based on relevant qualifications and experience.
