The successful candidate will be able to do X today and be able to pivot to Y tomorrow.</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Employees are required to support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools</li> <li dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</li> <li dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</li> <li dir="ltr">Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</li> <li dir="ltr">Strong planning and organisation skills</li> <li dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work</li> <li dir="ltr">Knowledge and ability to operate complex office equipment</li> <li dir="ltr">Ensure appropriate resources and processes have been provided to enable hazards to be identified and risks to be eliminated or minimized;</li> <li dir="ltr">Investigate health and safety concerns raised by workers or their workgroup;</li> <li dir="ltr">Undertake regular workplace inspections.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Role and Responsibilities of the Site Coordinator:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assisting the basic follow up of WHS issues and implementation of WHS management system, including checking of licences of onsite contractors</li> <li>Organising the effective delivery of site and equipment maintenance, security and general site upkeep</li> <li>In relation to building projects, coordination of ICT, cleaning and equipment requirements and worksite planning in consultation with the Business Manager.</li> <li>Organising capital works initiatives and improvements in consultation with the Business Manager.</li> <li>Working with stakeholders on ensuring the safety and security of sites and managing risks.</li> <li>Overseeing the hiring of the new Hub to external parties, including but not limited to preparation of hire agreement, liaising with external parties, be present on the actual date of event to ensure smooth organization of event together with the AV person.</li> <li>Liaising with CEDP, Parish and parish groups in terms of use of school facilities.</li> <li>Assisting the business manager in rectifying issues identified on CEDP Development and Infrastructure and WHS projects that are lined up.</li> <li>Obtaining quotes and liaising with contractors and suppliers in relation to school building and grounds repair and maintenance and capital building works.</li> <li>Managing maintenance staff and IT staff and reporting back to the Business Manager.</li> <li>Availability to on-call situations.</li> <li>Any other duties as assigned by the College Principal and/or delegate.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Experience in facilities and property management.</li> <li dir="ltr">Demonstrated commitment to WHS including pro-actively implementing safety improvements and risk reductions.</li> <li dir="ltr">Working with Children Check.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.</p> <p dir="ltr">CEDP promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
