<p><b>Role Summary </b></p><p>The College is seeking highly skilled <b>Primary Teachers</b> to join our casual list. There are opportunities for both half day and full day engagements. </p><p>William Clarke College is a vibrant community that values passionate and committed staff who actively support the College in its purpose as a Christ-centred community, seeking to develop extraordinary learners with a passion to serve others. We believe this foundation is best established in small groups. In addition to classroom teachers, students may also work with different teachers who have been allocated to deliver literacy and numeracy in a small group context.</p><p><b>Applicants must: </b></p><ul><li>Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers </li><li>Demonstrate a passion for child-centred learning, and proven ability to effectively engage students </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of the syllabus and assessment strategies </li><li>Possess a work ethic reflecting a commitment to excellence in teaching </li><li>Engage with Synthetic Phonics, Spelling Mastery and Number Sense programs, experience desirable </li><li>Build learning relationships through employing restorative practices </li><li>Uphold the Christian teachings of the College, encouraging students to serve others and explore Christ </li><li>Possess excellent organisation and planning skills; including the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities within strict deadlines </li><li>Display a commitment to continued professional growth through self-reflection and further learning </li></ul><p><i>William Clarke College is a child safe workplace; all successful candidates will be subject to a Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
