Full Time 3 Point Coordinator Role - Director of Teaching and Learning

<p>Founded in 1996, St Mark’s College is a high achieving Independent school located in Wattle Grove in South-West Sydney, 2 minutes from the Heathcote Rd exit of the M5. Through its relatively short history, SMC has been a consistently high achieving school with a focus on academic achievement and encourages and enables all of our students to explore, enjoy and to fulfil their potential.<br /></p><p>The Director of Teaching and Learning   is integral to achieving our vision and will lead students to discover and make the most of their talents, to thrive in and to love the pursuit of excellence. To achieve this vision, the Director of Teaching and Learning  will lead our committed and dedicated teaching staff through effective Professional Development, effective methodologies, planning and creation of programs that build and constantly develop the growth of our student’s spiritual, academic, physical and social requirements.</p><p>A full-time permanent position is required to commence from Term 3, 2022 with up to 0.5 teaching load. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, collaborative, knowledgeable and an experienced academic leader possessing a love of teaching and a deep understanding of the NSW Curriculum, RoSA, HSC and NESA requirements. This senior executive position reports directly to the Head of College/Deputy Head of College and is responsible for the academic program and progress of Years 7 to 12, including curriculum, assessment and reporting, timetabling as well as supervising the integration of technology into the curriculum.
