The ability to teach either Religious Education, Mathematics (Stage 5) or English would well regarded.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher with experience in working with students with diverse needs</li><li>Proven ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve numeracy and learning outcomes for every student</li><li>Demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Proven ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning programs</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education In the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Proven skills in the use of the Cloudshare learning management system (Drive, Sites, Teacher Dashboard) and COMPASS Database (Personal learning plans, reporting and markbook) and using the PP Tool</li><li>Willingness to lead and support co-curricular events </li></ul><p><b>Working With Children Check (WWCC)</b></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</p><p><b>COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence</b></p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
