<p align="center"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><strong>SAS Project - School Support Officer</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Manuka, Canberra<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Fixed-Term <br><strong>Employment Term:</strong> December 2022, with a possibility to extend<br><strong>Salary Range: </strong>Grade 4 ($86,539 - $94,409 + Superannuation)<br><strong>Start Date:</strong>&nbsp;June 2022 (immediately)<br><strong>Closing Date: </strong>11.55pm, Thursday 2 June 2022</p> <p>Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW operating 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and eight Early Learning Centres.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>This role is responsible for the provision of ICT project support resulting from the implementation of a new School Administration System (SAS) as part of the CECG SAS Project Team. The support will be delivered remotely and onsite with schools in partnership with school resources and existing SAS Project resources.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p> <ol start="1" type="1"> <li>Under direction from the SAS Project Manager and in collaboration with the SAS Project Implementation ICT Officer, deliver technical support resulting from rollout of SAS functionality and processes within assigned schools. This will be a combination of onsite and remote support and implementation work. <ul type="circle"> <li>Work with school staff to document any system functionality or process changes that may be required to provide the desired business outcome for assigned schools.</li> <li>Provide advice to schools on SAS product functionality and matching that to school implementation needs.</li> <li>Utilise appropriate data, integration and application issues reporting tools and applications.</li> <li>Work as part of a team to resolve implementation issues</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <ol start="2" type="1"> <li>Work in the Project team to support an effective team environment: <ul type="circle"> <li>Build and maintain good working relationships with other team members</li> <li>Backup and support other team members as required.</li> <li>Model and encourage the adoption of good team practices.<br><br></li> </ul> </li> <li>Work in the Project team to design and develop fit-for-purpose training materials: <ul type="circle"> <li>Video tutorials</li> <li>How-to-guides and instructional material</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Have high level communication skills both written and oral including the ability to proactively engage and work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Well-developed conceptual and analysis skills including demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse and present project initiatives.</li> <li>Work collaboratively, demonstrating the ability to work well with others and engenders a spirit of trust and teamwork.</li> <li>Show self-discipline and ability to manage time effectively whilst demonstrating a strong work ethic that enables the timely delivery of key objectives.</li> <li>Proven technical competency e.g. being able to use a range of software including Microsoft Office and Service Desk ticketing tools.
