The successful candidate will be a contemporary practitioner with qualifications and experience in teaching English and Religious Education across Stages 4-6. </p><p>The successful applicant will work within a team of professional staff in a technology-rich learning environment. Applicants must be innovative and have demonstrable ICT skills, be supportive of the Catholic ethos of our community and be prepared to participate in the co-curricular life of the College. </p><h5>Applicants are asked to provide: </h5><p>1) A completed Employment Application form (available on College website) </p><p>2) A letter outlining reasons for your interest in the position (one page) </p><p>3) A Curriculum Vitae with two referees including current employer </p><p>4) A statement addressing the essential requirements below (Please limit your response to no more than five pages) </p><h5>Essential Criteria: </h5><p>• Has an affinity with and appreciation for the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice and the EREA Charter Touchstones. </p><p>• Demonstrates excellent knowledge, understanding and maintains qualifications to teach Stages 4- 6 English and Stage 6 Religious Education. </p><p>• Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff and make a positive contribution to innovative teaching within the English KLA. </p><p>• Demonstrates competence and confidence in the effective use of technologies to enhance student learning in a one-to-one learning environment. </p><p>• Can demonstrate an excellent understanding of contemporary educational research in pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning. </p><p>• Demonstrates an ability to relate positively with students, staff and parents and a willingness to work in a collaborative team. </p><p>• Ability and willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities </p><p>• Able to show proof of vaccination against Covid or NSW Government Contraindication Form which is accepted as legitimate by NSW Health and standards outlined by EREA, Catholic Schools NSW and Education NSW. </p><p>St Edward’s College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
