We are seeking a Senior Teacher of Physical Education to join our dedicated staff team. The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of SACE PE/Health and the appropriate pedagogy for physical education and sports coaching.

The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of SACE PE and the appropriate pedagogy for physical education and sports coaching. They will demonstrate the ability to monitor student progress and provide relevant feedback. </p><p>Key responsibilities will be the delivery of the Australian Curriculum in Physical Education Stage 1 &amp; 2. </p><p><b>Trinity College</b> is a thriving multi-site, independent, co-educational Anglican College founded in a liberal educational tradition and located in the northern Adelaide region. Co-curriculum, cultural and physical activities are part of a total education in a caring, Christian environment. </p><p>To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes: </p><ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in teaching </li><li>Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration </li><li>Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian education </li></ul><p><b>Highly Desirable </b></p><ul><li>Have the desire and skills to participate in the school&#39;s pastoral care programme </li><li>Be enthusiastic and dedicated in understanding how learning occurs and the relevant teaching pedagogies associated with engaging senior school students </li><li>Knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety </li><li>Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Stage 1 &amp; 2 Physical Education will be an advantage </li><li>Knowledge and demonstrated experience in another subject area will be advantageous </li></ul><p>All teachers are expected to support the Christian ethos of the College.
