St Columban's Primary School, Mayfield is seeking a permanent full-time Assistant Principal to join the team from 2023.<br><br>St Columban's Primary School, Mayfield has, for over one hundred years, represented a snapshot of the wider community.<br>We nurture our students to become active, accepting and culturally aware future citizens.<br>Our students draw from the areas of Mayfield, Mayfield West, Tighes Hill, Warabrook and Carrington.<br>Our unique school community boasts the highest multicultural population of any primary school in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle with many families from Asia, the Pacific Islands and Africa, as well as Indigenous Australians, forming a school community that is culturally aware and accepting of others.<br><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3><br><br>The Assistant Principal will assist the Principal to lead across the school community to:<br><li>Model faith in action<br></li><li>Develop and shape a shared vision focused on providing quality educational experiences and learning outcomes for all students<br></li><li>Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and all other stakeholders<br></li><li>Support and monitor the learning and growth of effective teachers<br></li><li>Set high standards for students and staff performance<br><br>Acknowledgement and agreement of the requirement to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
