Catherine McAuley Catholic College is seeking a permanent fulltime Ministry&nbsp;Coordinator&nbsp;to join the team&nbsp;in 2023.<br><br>Commencing in 2021 with Years 7 &amp; 8, the newly established Catherine McAuley Catholic College is expected to grow annually to a Years 7-12 Learning Community in 2025.<br>The College is committed to empowering confident, agile and reflective learners and educators co-create learning environments where faith, purpose, fulfilment and joy are experienced by all.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>The College is located in the beautiful Port Stephens region and can provide the ideal coastal or semi-rural lifestyle for those considering a sea change.<br>Medowie is only 34km from the Newcastle CBD and within an hour’s drive to the stunning Hunter Valley area.<br><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3><br><br>Ministry Coordinators (MCs) are members of the school executive team and are significant religious leaders for the school community.MC’s support the Principal in promoting and affirming the Catholic culture, identity and mission of the school. They work in partnership with the Principal and Parish Priest to provide religious leadership for the school and wider community, and representing the school in the community.<br><br>Teachers in a Catholic school have a unique role to play and are assigned with the task of ensuring each child has the opportunity to grow both academically and spiritually and to live purposeful lives. The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles (including digital learning) and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that impact on student learning outcomes.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br>Acknowledgement and agreement of the requirement to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
