We are proud to have passionate and dedicated staff who recognise the unique strengths and qualities of every Pymble girl. </p><h4><br /></h4><h4>The role </h4><p>Reporting to the Head of Learning Area – Science, and working amongst leading scientific minds and educators, this full-time permanent position will see you teaching across Stages 4 and 5 Science, and Stage 6 Chemistry, with a positive impact on our leaders of tomorrow. </p><p>As a talented, passionate and experienced Science and Chemistry Teacher, you will foster a love of Science theory and practice through the facilitation of effective learning, applying effective strategies and innovative pedagogical practice. </p><p>Working collaboratively with the secondary school, you will develop and implement engaging learning activities and organise content into well-sequenced programs that meet the requirements of the NESA curriculum, all while harbouring the further passions of our students in the Science disciplines. </p><h4><br /></h4><h4>About you </h4><p>You will demonstrate the following attributes and capabilities: </p><ul><li>Be a confident and effective classroom teacher with recent experience in Stage 4 and 5 Science, and Stage 6 Chemistry </li><li>Have an excellent understanding of the Science and current HSC Chemistry curricula </li><li>Have extensive knowledge of the NESA syllabus requirements and program development </li><li>Be experienced in working as part of a team and collaborative practice </li><li>Be a positive contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes </li><li>Be confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom </li><li>Have a strong understanding of the application of technology to enhance learning </li><li>Be a reflective professional engaged in ongoing development and research in relation to your practice </li><li>Be committed to supporting student wellbeing. </li></ul><p><br /></p><p>To learn more about this position, the calibre of person we are seeking to appoint, what makes Pymble an excellent place to work and continue your journey of professional growth; click ‘APPLY’ to go to the College website. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Applications close 3.00 pm Wednesday 8 June 2022. </b></p><p><br /></p><p>Successful candidates must comply with the NSW Teacher Accreditation Act and provide a Working with Children Check. </p><p>Pymble Ladies&#39; College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
