<p><b>FULL TIME | INITIAL 4 YEAR CONTRACT | COMMENCING 16 JANUARY 2023</b></p><p><b>REMUNERATION PACKAGE: $179,438 to $194,362</b></p><p>Murrupurtiyanuwu Catholic Primary School is a well-established co-educational Catholic school located at Wurrumiyanga on Bathurst Island. It has an enrolment of 204 predominantly Tiwi students from early childhood to year six. You will be leading a well-supported and culturally rich community of learners with dedicated and committed teachers and indigenous assistant teachers focused on delivering a high-quality faith-based education. </p><p>The role of the Principal is to provide strategic and operational leadership of our faith community. The Principal works as a member of the school leadership team and in partnership with the Tiwi community to deliver a culturally safe, respectful and engaging learning environment that is inclusive of Tiwi spirituality, faithful to the tradition of Catholic education, founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and expressed in the school values: Strong in Faith, Strong in Culture, and Strong in Learning. </p><p>This position will involve working with children. The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with legislation. </p><p>CENT employees are subject to the COVID-19 Directives for mandatory vaccination issued by the Northern Territory’s Chief Health Officer.
